ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
What can I expect from the event?
Life Chronicles is a unique virtual reality experience that takes visitors into the history of life itself covering 3.5 billion years of the Earth’s history and living organisms. Equipped with a virtual reality headset, you will be transported back in time to the Earth’s origins, before embarking on an epic adventure through the planet’s major evolutionary phases.
Where is the experience located?
The experience will be located at West Edmonton Mall, Level 2 | Phase III next to Sport Chek.
Is there parking available?
Visitors can park in the West Edmonton Mall parkades or surface-level parking lot. Valet service is offered in entrance 50.
Handicap parking spaces are located at each entrance and level of the mall. Parking lots 48, 50, and 58 have the most handicap parking spots available.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
The VR experience has an approximate duration of 45 minutes. We recommend you allow 15 minutes to drop off your personal belongings and get ready.
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are late, speak to a staff member upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate you, but entry cannot be guaranteed, and your ticket may be forfeited.
In what language is the experience presented?
The experience is available in English, Spanish, Mandarin and French. Subtitles are not available.
Is the experience accessible for children?
The experience is suitable for children aged 8 and above. Children under 8 are not allowed to participate, even when carried by an adult, for safety reasons. Children aged 8-12 must be accompanied. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign a waiver on-site if they wish their child to use a VR headset, acknowledging the risks and authorizing their participation. Please note that the accompanying adult cannot supervise or assist the child while in VR.
Can I take pictures or record the experience?
Yes. We invite our guests to take photos and videos for personal use only and would love for you to tag us at @infinityexperiences_official
Please note, the use of flashes and tripods are strictly prohibited. Press photography (and any other photography for professional use) is also prohibited unless authorized and accompanied by a staff member.
Is the experience the same for everyone?
Yes, the experience is the same for each visitor.
Is it necessary to dress a specific way for this experience?
We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Avoid hats or caps due to the VR headset. Backpacks and handbags are to be stored in the provided lockers. Heels are not recommended.
How many people can take part in the experience in the same group?
Groups consist of 4 visitors, but multiple groups can follow the experience together.
Are there any potential risks associated with the experience?
The experience may lead to a loss of balance which could cause a fall. The experience is therefore less suitable for people susceptible to vertigo or with severe balance issues or health concerns. Please, advice our team before participating so that we can assist you with the smoothest experience possible. As with any VR experience, some participants may experience mild discomfort or disorientation. Those prone to motion sickness or balance issues might feel unsteady or nauseous. We take safety seriously and have measures in place to assist all participants.
Are backpacks allowed into the experience?
For the safety of others, backpacks (even small ones) are not permitted.
Can I bring my baby?
For safety reasons, babies are not allowed in the experience, whether in carriers or strollers.
Is it safe to experience this if I'm pregnant?
It is not recommended for pregnant individuals to participate in the experience.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
You will be able to purchase food and beverage at this event; however, please note that there won't be gluten-free or vegan options.
Are there lockers and or a coat check on site?
Yes, lockers with keys are available. You will have access to them before entering the experience. Please note lockers are in limited quantity, on a first come first serve basis.
Are there bathrooms available at the venue?
Yes, bathrooms are available at the mall.

Where can I get tickets?
We recommend getting your tickets ahead of time through:
Can I buy tickets on site?
Yes, we will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets in the Fever App or on the
Fever website.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the
Google Play or
Apple Store . Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please
contact us.
What methods of payment are accepted on site?
Payment methods accepted on-site include credit and debit cards. Cash is not accepted.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. One of our agents will respond to your request as soon as possible, informing you of the next steps to follow.
No refunds are permitted under any circumstances. For more information, you can consult our T&C.
Is it possible to transfer a ticket to someone else?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please
contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I have to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the
Apple App Store or
Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase.
You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
GROUPS RESERVATIONS
Are school group visits offered?
Yes, Life Chronicles is a great activity for schools and day camps interested in exploring technology, art, and history. We offer preferential pricing for school groups and will work with you to create a fun and enriching experience for your students. For more information, please don't hesitate to contact us at

Are corporate or private group bookings available?
Yes, we can accommodate corporate and or private groups! Please get in touch with us at groups@horizonkhufuedmonton.ca
Do all the members of my group have to be together to register?
Yes, if you want to experience it together. If you expect your group members to arrive at different times, we suggest you order your tickets separately.
ACCESSIBILITY
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no animals are allowed due to the multi-user tracking technology.
Is the experience accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, with certain conditions.
The experience is accessible to individuals using a wheelchair, whether manual or motorized. To ensure smooth and safe movement within the immersive environment, we recommend that motorized wheelchairs be set to manual mode whenever possible.
Wheelchairs are available on-site for those who may need them.
A complimentary ticket for a carer is offered and recommended to support the experience.
Can I wear eyeglasses?
Yes, eyeglasses can be worn. Staff will help position the headset correctly. Nearsighted individuals should keep their glasses on. Reading glasses and farsighted glasses are not necessary. The maximum supported width for glasses is 150 mm (5.9 in), larger frames may pose a problem, so we suggest wearing contacts if available.
Can I participate with hearing aids?
You can participate with hearing aids, but they cannot be linked to the VR Headset.
Is the experience accessible for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals?
Subtitles or captions are not available for this experience.
I have balance issues or a history of vertigo. Can I still participate?
This experience can trigger vertigo. We offer canes for added stability during the experience. Please inform our staff upon arrival, and they'll be happy to assist you.
Is the experience safe for people with heart conditions or epilepsy?
We do not recommend participation for those with these medical conditions. If you have any concerns about your health and ability to participate, please consult with your healthcare provider before attending.
Can a person with a heart condition or epilepsy take part in the virtual reality experience? Are there strobe lights?
VR is not recommended for those with claustrophobia, agoraphobia, fear of heights, or epilepsy. People prone to motion sickness may also experience discomfort when using a VR headset. This might lead to symptoms like drowsiness, increasing the risk of injury during real-world activities.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
While the experience is designed to be continuous, our staff can assist if you need a short break. Please let us know before the experience begins if you require accommodations.
