What can I expect from the event?
A virtual reality experience lets you experience every major period in the evolution of the planet and life itself, from the very start. Don your headset and begin your adventure starting 3.5 billion years ago… right up to the year 2200! Take a trip back in time to marvel at the landscapes of the past and meet spectacular species, including huge millipedes, marine reptiles and dinosaurs!
Where is the experience located?
The experience takes place at Fever Pavilion, Olympic Blvd, Sydney Olympic Park NSW 2127.
Does the experience take place in an indoor or outdoor venue?
This experience is held indoors in an air-conditioned venue.
How long does the experience last?
For you to have an estimate, the immersive virtual reality experience usually lasts about 45 minutes. We recommend you allow 1 hour to drop off your personal belongings and get ready.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase?
There is a cafe on site, however, please note we do not dictate the open times of this cafe, and can not guarantee it will be open. In the case the on-site cafe is closed, there are other food and beverage vendors at Sydney Olympic Park within a 1 minute drive or an 8 to 10 minute walk.
Is there parking available?
There will be paid & limited free parking available. To guarantee a spot, we recommend you pre-book at the link
HERE. P1 is the closest car park, noting that P5 and P6 are about a 20 minute walk. When the road is open for public access, there is limited free 2-hour parking available on Olympic Boulevard, just at our doorstep.
What’s the best public transportation? What are the closest train stations?
By Train:
- Olympic Park station is on the T7 line
- Olympic Park. Change at Lidcombe Station for services leaving
every 10 minutes.
By Bus:
- 401 from Lidcombe station
- 450 from Hurstville
- 525 from Parramatta station
- 525/526 from Burwood
- 526 from Sydney Olympic Park Wharf
By Ferry: Sydney Olympic Park Wharf is situated 3kms from the town center. Travel between Parramatta and Circular Quay.
Will there be additional sessions?
We can not guarantee additional sessions will be added to the experience, so we suggest booking within the dates and times currently available on the website.
Is there a dress code?
There is not a specific dress code, but we recommend all users wear closed toe shoes.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
Yes! There will be merchandise for sale at the shop.
ABOUT TICKETS
Where can I get tickets?
Can I purchase tickets at the door?
We will have a box office on site. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets through the Fever App (available on
Google Play and the Apple
App Store) or on the
Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please
contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from the Apple
App Store or
Google Play). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What can I do?
You can find your ticket with the QR code in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the
Google Play or
Apple Store . Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please
contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed?
This experience allows date changes up to 48 hours in advance. If you would like to make the change, please
contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. Can I make a group booking?
Generally, tickets are non-refundable. Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience. In such a case, please contact
Fever Customer service indicating your ticket ID. For more information, you can refer to our .
What happens if I am late for my time slot?
If you would like to book for a large group, please reach
groups@feverup.com with your preferred attendance date and the size of your group.
Do you offer press passes?
ABOUT ACCESS TO THE EVENT
Do I need to arrive at the start of my scheduled session?
We kindly advise all attendees to arrive 5-10 minutes ahead of your scheduled session time.
Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed?
Due to the nature of multi-user tracking technology, pets are not allowed, though we permit service dogs for a seated experience (eg. on the lap of a person sitting in a wheelchair) to avoid collision with other users in virtual reality.
Is the experience accessible?
The experience is wheelchair accessible. This is a walkthrough experience, but for the elderly or any guests that occasionally experience challenges with stability, we have a limited number of wheelchairs available on site. Please note we can not guarantee availability, so if this is a requirement for you, to avoid waiting for a chair to become available, we recommend bringing your own.
What are the prohibited items at the experience?
For guests safety, any large items, bags, backpacks must be placed in the free lockers ahead of entering the experience. Phone and wallets may be taken in, however, phones must be placed on airplane mode to ensure they don't interfere with the signal to your headset.
Please note, the use of flashes and tripods are strictly prohibited. For the privacy of our guests, press photography or photography for professional use is only possible if authorised by a staff member.
Do you offer carer tickets?
Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to apply for one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us with proof of needing a carer ticket.
Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).
Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.
Is the experience accessible for deaf/visually impaired people?
Hearing impaired people will be able to enjoy this experience as it is mostly visual; however, we do not recommend this event for visually impaired people.
Will there be strobe lights?
This event won't include strobe lights.
Are there chairs available? Can I be seated during the experience/exhibition?
This is a walkthrough experience, but for the elderly or any guests that occasionally experience challenges with stability, we have a limited number of wheelchairs available on site. Please note we can not guarantee availability, so if this is a requirement for you, to avoid waiting for a chair to become available, we recommend bringing your own.
Will restrooms be available on site?
To ensure the privacy of all guests, no photography is permitted inside the experience, however, there is a photo opportunity in the lobby for those wanting to share their experience.
Can I take photos or record the experience?
This venue has restrooms—please ask our staff on site for indications.
Is there a Lost & Found?
We would recommend asking the staff at the venue if they have found your belongings. If you cannot ask them on site, please
contact us.
Is coat check available?
This venue lockers/coat check available—please ask our staff on site for indications.
Is there an age requirement?
For the safety of both the children and our other guests, all children must be 8 or older to enter the experience.
Please note: Children between the age of 8 - 12 must enter the experience accompanied by a supervising adult (aged 18+). These supervising adults are responsible for purchasing their own tickets.
Children under the age of 8 are not allowed to participate, even when accompanied by an adult, for safety reasons and size incompatibility with the headsets.
Will there be an audio guide?
There will be a visual and audio guide to assist you through the experience, as well as staff on site.
What does the equipment consist of?
The immersive expedition equipment consists of an adjustable virtual reality headset.
Are personal backpacks allowed into the experience?

Do you offer guided visits?
We offer on-site guest attendants throughout each phase of the experience, and there is a virtual reality guide in the experience. If needed, you will always be able to interact with one of our staff members for any needs and or questions.
Is it possible to sit during the experience?
No, the experience is made for you to wander the space for 45 minutes. For individuals with reduced mobility, we are happy to accommodate you. Please see more information below.
Can you do the experience with a child in a baby carrier or stroller?
No, the experience is incompatible with carrying a baby in a baby carrier, on your stomach, on your back, or within a stroller.
Can a person with a heart condition or epilepsy take part in the virtual reality experience?
No, unfortunately people with a heart condition or epilepsy cannot take part in our immersive virtual reality expedition.
Is it possible to wear eyeglasses?
Yes, people who wear glasses can experience our expedition in virtual reality. Our staff will be on hand to show them how to position the headset correctly.
Note to any visitors wearing prescription glasses: we advise using normal reading glasses, as other types such as varifocals may lower the overall viewing experience.
Can a deaf or hard-of-hearing person follow the experience?
The visual content of our immersive expedition is not subtitled, so it may not be the best experience for customers with a hearing impairment. We are doing our best to make all our experiences inclusive and would recommend you take a look at other experiences in your city.
I have hearing aids. Am I able to do the experience?
Yes, a person wearing a hearing aid can follow and hear the content of the experience. The virtual reality headset has small speakers that emit sound over the ears.
